ROBERT DANIEL BOUGHNER
Albany, Oregon

Robert Daniel BOUGHNER passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Robert was born in Jefferson County, Fairfield, Iowa to Pauline and Bill BOUGHNER.

Robert was drafted in the Army and was stationed at Fort Sill, OK. He worked as a mechanic in the motor pool and wheel and track and demolitions. Robert received mechanical training in Iowa and worked for Thomas Betts and other car dealers as a mechanic. He was described as industrious by nature and by hobby. He was always ready to help with car problems or appliance issues and helped many people. Robert was a car enthusiast and enjoyed being in car clubs and visiting car shows. He enjoyed picking up old cars and refurbishing them.

Robert married CJ in Iowa while working together at Thomas Betts. They moved to South Carolina for several years. Looking for a new adventure, they moved to Albany, OR in 1996. Robert for a job in maintenance at Smokecraft and eventually at Target Warehouse.

Robert loved the west coast taking many visits to the coast and the mountains.

Rober (sic) is survived by his wife CJ and his sons Daniel ( Tracy) Iowa, Scott (Anne) Iowa, and Robert Arizona, one granddaughter, Payton. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Kenneth and two grandchildren: Jayden and Benson.
