HAROLD A. CLINE
Washington

Harold A. CLINE, age 73, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Washington County Hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the First Assembly of God Church in Washington with Rev. Jim Cluney officiating. Calling hours will begin 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024, at the First Assembly of God Church where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for WCDC or the Washington County Mini Bus. Online condolences may be sent for Harold's family at www.jonesfh.com.

Harold was born March 4, 1950, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of Forest and Velma (YEOMAN) CLINE. He lived most of his life in Washington, Iowa, except for the years he lived at the Glenwood School.

Harold attended WCDC in Washington and worked at the United Presbyterian Home in the laundry department. He helped with can pick-up, redemption and sorting. Harold loved to fish and always looked forward to attending Camp REECE. He enjoyed watching sports on TV. Harold loved the meaning of Christmas and especially enjoyed getting together with his family.

He is survived by his brother, Rodger CLINE and wife Susan of Iowa City, Iowa; sister, Esther EVANS of Washington, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Flora Mae ZANGER; and brother, Raymond CLINE and his wife Diane.

For a man with no words, Harold touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
