Well Known Jefferson County Resident Taken This Morning
Mrs. Estella GREEN, wife of Wayne G. GREEN, passed away at 11:30 o'clock this morning at her home, 410 East Adams street, following an extended illness with heart trouble and complications.
The body was taken to the Campbell Funeral Home pending arrangements.
Mrs. GREEN was born October 12, 1861, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Solomon CLARKE (sic - CLARK) of Salina. She spent practically her entire life in Jefferson county and a number of years in Fairfield.
Besides her husband she leaves a sister Miss Cora CLARKE of Liberty township; two sons, Harry Clarke GREEN, who recently arrived from the west, and Ralph Allen GREEN of this city, and two grandchildren, Doris and Marjorie GREEN of Fairfield.

GREEN RITES HELD FRIDAY
Rev. G. W. Pool Officiated At Services in Funeral Home Here
Funeral services for Mrs. Wayne GREEN, who passed away Wednesday morning following an extended illness, were held at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Campbell Funeral Home. Rev. G. W. Pool officiated at the last rites.
Music was furnished by Mrs. B. F. Leathers and Miss Marie Scott who sang "Rock of Ages" and "Nearer My God to Thee" accompanied on the piano by Mrs. H. P. Campbell.
Pallbearers were: Charles GREEN, Fred Flinspach, William Carlson, M. R. Collins, Henry Munson and Perry Hickenbottom. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.
Estella May CLARK, daughter of Clara Augusta MONSON and Solomon CLARK, was born at Salina, Iowa, October 12, 1861, and departed this life the 18th day of January, 1933. She was married at Fairfield, Iowa, October 18, 1882, to Gaddis Wayne GREEN.
Two children were born to this union, Harry Clark GREEN, Georgetown, Calif. and Ralph Allen GREEN of Fairfield, who with their father survive.
The other surviving relatives are one sister, Miss Cora CLARK, Fairfield; one aunt, Mrs. Rose TAYLOR, Creston, Iowa; and two grandchildren, Doris Elizabeth and marjorie (sic) Juanita GREEN of Fairfield
Mr. and Mrs. GREEN were married 50 years October 18, 1933 (sic - 1932), but Mrs. GREEN being ill they were unable to celebrate this event. She had been seriously ill for the past two months.
