RichlandAmy Jo WOLCOTT, 53, of Richland, died in her home on Monday July 3, 2023. She was born in Iowa City on December 30, 1969, to Robert Gene and Linda Kay FORDYCE. Amy grew up in Libertyville and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1988. She graduated from Blackburn University in Carlinville, IL, in 1992 with a B.A. in Psychology. She was a mother, a homemaker, and a Jack of all trades. Amy married Jeff WEBER but they later divorced amicably. She married Jeff WOLCOTT. Who preceded her in death. She was an active member of Richland Methodist Church.
Amy is survived by her children: Marcus WEBER of Keosauqua, Jacob and Kloey WEBER of Ollie, Orion WEBER of Richland, Michayne WEBER of Richland. Her grandchild: Luna Elinor WEBER. Her bonus children, Sabrina FRY and Zachary ARNOLD. Her family: brother, Steve and Tanya FORDYCE (3 children); brother, David and Amy FORDYCE (3 children); aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Richland Methodist Church 11 A.M. Saturday, July 8, 2023, with Rev. Michael Elrod and Rev. Kim Gates officiating. The burial at Clay Cemetery near Richland will precede the funeral service. Visitation will be at the church Friday evening 5:30 to 8 P.M. July 7, 2023. Memorials for the Pekin Fine Arts Program may be left at the church or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 45 Richland IA 52585. Gould Funeral Home of Richland is in charge of arrangements.
