Susan began her career at Danielson Motor Company in Fairfield, IA, and later found her calling at the Iowa Department of Human Services, where she worked as a dedicated employee for many years until her retirement.

Susan met her husband, Rusty MUNTZ, at a birthday party, and the two were inseparable for the next 33 years. They were married on May 26, 1990, and honeymooned in Nashville, TN. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, with Susan taking care of the bookkeeping for Rusty's electrical business.

Family was of the utmost importance to Susan, having grown up in a large family herself.
