GAIL L. CHURCH-WIGINGTON
Mount Pleasant

Gail L. CHURCH-WIGINGTON, 45, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant (note: in Henry Co., IA).

Gail was born on December 7, 1977, in Fairfield, the daughter of Wayne and Lin (PHILLIPS) CHURCH. She married Tim WIGINGTON; and then they later separated. Gail was now engaged to Virgil NICHOLS. Gail enjoyed life to the fullest and she always had a huge smile. Gail worked for Lomont Molding of Mt. Pleasant as a team leader for several years before going to work at Staats Custom Awards of Mt. Pleasant. She had worked at Comfort Inn as a general manager. Gail always put her family first.

She is survived by her mother, Lin of Mt. Pleasant; her children, Landon and Zachary; her stepdaughter, Danielle BURGESS; and her brother, Andy CHURCH.

Gail was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Debra Savage officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery (note: in Henry Co., IA). The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the Murphy Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in her memory.
