Geri Lou STEVENS was born on July 14, 1942, in Michigan, to Jimmy and Phyllis CROCKER. She attended school in Michigan and eventually graduated in California. Her path in life led her to Iowa, where she began working at Vega Industries in Mt. Pleasant. It was there that she met the love of her life, Bob STEVENS. The two began their life together as husband and wife on June 16, 1978. They lived in several places before settling near Batavia, IA. Geri worked for many years as a waitress at the Sandwich Shop in Fairfield as well as several other restaurants. She loved the people, and they loved her. Geri enjoyed a long car ride with Bob and her Dog, Bella. She always took the opportunity to go shopping and even if she didn't buy anything, she would make up for it the next time she went. Geri was always protective of her family but never held a grudge and always had love in her heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Janie STEVENS CLAYMEN.

Left to honor her memory is her loving husband, Bob STEVENS of Batavia, IA; three children, Rance, Kirk and B.J. and Janette PRATT, who was always thought of as a child; four grandchildren; three brothers, Dale, Tim and Kevin, as well as many extended family and friends.
