KATHLEEN M. "KATIE" McCLURG ALLISON
Washington

Kathleen M. "Katie" McCLURG ALLISON, 88, of Washington, died Sunday, December 31, 2022, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona. She was born in Packwood on December 22, 1934, the daughter of Alice M. RAINES and Roy CAMPBELL. Katie grew up in Brighton, graduated from Brighton High School in 1952 and married Terry McCLURG on May 24, 1953. He died December 11, 1983. She married Richard ALLISON June 2, 1995, and he died March 18, 1999. Katie worked in Alice's Café for several years then worked at Advance Ross, Perfex, then Modine in Washington. She attended the Brighton Presbyterian Church, liked to dance, loved her family and her dogs Susie and Poochie.

Katie is survived by three nieces: Kathleen JESKEY of Lake Oswego, OR, Laurie FERRELL of Tucson, AZ and Shannon LEVETON of Oregon City, OR, two nephews: Mike HAGANS of Portland, OR and Barry HAGANS of Lake Oswego, OR, 10 great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and her sister Charlotte SMITH.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Brighton First Church of God with Pastor Rick Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Center Cemetery, Packwood, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. immediately before the service. Memorials for the Washington Public Library may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 10182 E. Dessert Crossing Way, Tucson, AZ 85747. Gould Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
