South Beloit, IL

Donald C. MINEART, 72, of South Beloit, IL, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Don was born in Fairfield, Iowa, on August 1, 1950, to Charles and Ethel MINEART. He enjoyed working in the yard and feeding the birds, especially his hummingbirds. Don kept a daily journal adding his artistic talent to each page.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie; his daughter, Tara LINHART (Todd); his grandchildren, Seth, Bryant, Drew and Courtney; and siblings, Richard, Marie BREESE (Al), Dolores JOHNSON (Fred), Dale (Denise), Patricia LEISTIKOW (Rod) and Kenny (Jody).

Predeceased by his parents and brothers, John and David.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the service on Friday, November 18, 2022 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Rockford Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, St. Jude or a charity of your choice.
