Services for Mrs. Martin FRITZ, 68, will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. from the St. Joseph's Catholic church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Fr. Paul Wetzstein in charge.
Death came at 11 p.m. Wednesday night at her home in East Pleasant Plain after an illness of long duration. She and Mrs. (sic - Mr.) FRITZ had spent the winter months with their daughter, Mrs. Wilbur RICHARDSON in Washington, IA. and returned to their home in East Pleasant Plain a week ago today. Ella FOLEY was born in Mt. Rose, Ia., and was reared by Mrs. Nick WAGGONER of Ottumwa, following the death of her mother when Ella was very small. Forty-nine years ago, she married Martin FRITZ and the family made their home in the Germanville neighborhood for many years, later moving to East Pleasant Plain.
Suriving are three sons and six daughters: Lawrence and Raymond of Washington, Ia.; and Francis, Lake City, Ia.; Mrs. Lucy CASE, Mrs. Wilbur RICHARDSON, and Mrs. Margaret MILLER all of Washington; Mrs. Mildred DVORSKY, Riverside, Ia.; Mrs. Florence JONES, Milan, Ill.; and Catherine FRITZ, with the WACs overseas.
