Mrs. Rachel Birdsall died at her home in this city Wed.; consumption. Born and grew to womanhood in Indiana and came to Fairfield with her widowed mother, Mrs. Fleming, in 1858; married here to Wm. Birdsall. Two children. The daughter Martha now resided in Iroquois County, Ill., while son J. C. Birdsall is trainmaster of the B. & M. Ry. In Nebr., home in Alliance. Mrs. Birdsall about 68 years of age. Presbyterian Church.
