SelmaArthur P. FULTON, 88, of Selma died Thursday, July 5, 1990, at his home.
FULTON was born July 5, 1902, on the same farm he lived most of his life, the son of Pearl and Edith SNOOK FULTON. He graduated from Selma High School and attended Parsons College and Iowa State College in Ames.
He was a farmer and inventor. He had been employed by the Rock Island Arsenal, John Deere in Waterloo, Green Foundry in Des Moines and an aircraft factory in Seattle.
FULTON is survived by one brother, Fred, of Selma and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Harry and Wayne; and five sisters, Grace ROHRER, Beth CAMPBELL, Marian DAGGETT, Millie EDWARDS and Florence PARSONS.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds with the Gerald Caughron officiating (sic). Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 this evening. Memorials to Mount Zion Community Church may be left at the funeral home.
