*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I have no relation to the person(s) mentioned.Note: While there is no listing in the Evergreen Cemetery Burials (1871-1990) for Francisco, there is a listing for a Frank FROST (March 19, 1901 - April 25, 1927). It is believed by this poster that these are one and the same person. I am unable to find any information at this point on Ancestry.com to prove or disprove this belief, however the presence of the above obituaries in the local newspaper and complete absence of anything for the FROST surname leads me to believe that the FROST entry is in error. It was noted in the Evergreen listing that Frank was a Mexican man, and that he was married, but his wife's name was not noted. Frank FROST is buried in the Public Grounds section in Evergreen Cemetery, in Row 6, Space 33, with no gravestone.
Further research reveals that the surname is likely FRAUSTO. The family appears in the 1925 Iowa State Census under that name. The wife is noted as Perey FRAUSTO, although her maiden name appears to have been PEREY or PEREZ (more likely PEREZ, being Mexican). On December 13, 1922, there was a marriage recorded between Francis FRAUSTO and Cruz PEREZ in Washington Co., IA, which noted Francis' occupation as a Section Laborer in Fairfield, IA; his parents are listed as Miguel FRAUSTO and Juana AUGUINA. -Admin.
