DEATH CLAIMS MRS. FLEAGLE

Death came last night to a lifelong resident of the Fairfield community.

She is Mrs. William H. FLEAGLE, 71, who passed away about 7:30 p.m. at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been in failing health the past five years and seriously ill the past week. She was taken to the hospital Wednesday.

Last rites will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with the Rev. G. J. Dingman in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Iona Inez FLEAGLE was born Nov. 26, 1879, in Fairfield, the daughter of the late James and Lydia SEARS WINNEY. She was united in marriage in 1902 to William H. FLEAGLE who preceded his wife in death Oct. 31, 1938.

Mrs. FLEAGLE, a member of the Free Methodist church, has spent her entire life in this community and was well known by a number of people.

She is survived by the following children: Claud FLEAGLE, Fairfield; and Mrs. Bessie MANLEY, Fairfield. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lucinda LAUGHLIN and Mrs. May RIDDLE, both of Revere, Mo.

She was also proceded (sic) in death by a daughter, Ethel May, who died in infancy.
