Nick enjoyed a lifelong passion of classic cars. He was a HUGE Chicago Bears fan and was loyal regardless of how they played. He was active in his kids' sports and activities, which he continued to enjoy later in life with his grandchildren as well. He had a special place in his heart for the holidays, especially Christmas as he loved having all the family home and together. He would even play Christmas music before Halloween on most years. An everyday pastime would include playing cards with Mary Ann and family. Nick was the true definition of a family man.

Nick was born in Fairfield, Iowa, to Ardel and Maxine LEDGER HAHN on Nov. 3, 1961. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ann (MURPHY) HAHN, on May 9, 1981, and they had just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year. He worked in production at the Sky Factory in Fairfield, Iowa.

Nick is survived by his wife, Mary Ann HAHN; his three children, Erin (Aaron) HYDE, Heather (Andrew) RITTER and Cody HAHN; his five grandchildren, Elijah HAHN, Niko HOFFMAN, Annie and Claire HYDE and Maisie RITTER; father and mother-in-law, John and Sandra MURPHY; siblings, Pat (Gail) HAHN, Diane HAHN, Dan (Karen) HAHN and Christy (Ron) SWITZER; sister-in-law, Kelly HAHN; and many nieces and nephews.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents; Ardel and Maxine HAHN; and his oldest brother, Larry HAHN.
