Otto ESTLE, 65, Dies Suddenly

Otto ESTLE, Fairfield earth-moving contractor, died about 4:35 p.m. Monday at the Ottumwa Hospital about an hour after he had entered as a patient (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

He was admitted to the Jefferson County Hospital at 10 p.m. Sunday and transferred to Ottumwa Monday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Dilley officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The body is at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Otto ESTLE, 65, was born Feb. 2, 1904, at Ethel, Mo., the son of William and Phoebe Ann CHASTEEN ESTLE. He was reared and educated at Ethel and later entered the general earth-moving contracting business.

He was married to Pauline RICHARDSON on Aug. 22, 1937, at Kahoka, Mo. She died March 13, 1968. The couple moved to Fairfield from Troy, Iowa, 14 years ago. The family home is now located four miles west of Fairfield on rural route 4.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Clinton Lodge No. 15, Consistory and Kaaba Shrine both at Davenport; and White Shrine.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Gene BLOSS, Brookfield, Mo.; Mrs. Keith BURK, Fairfield; Mrs. Stanley SELEG, Jr., Indianapolis, Ind.; and Rosalie, at home; three sons, James and John, both of Fairfield; and George at home.

Other survivors include seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. LaVaughn LONG, Jonesboro, Tenn.; and Mrs. Julia BOLLINGER, Glendale, Ariz.; also two brothers, Harold, Bloomfield; and Irwin, New Cambria; Mo. (sic)

ESTLE was preceded in death by one son, one grandchild and a sister.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Otto ESTLE, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate of Otto ESTLE Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 3rd day of June, 1969, the last will and testament of Otto ESTLE deceased bearing date of the 10th day of March, 1961, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that E.G. Linder was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
