Curtis ELLIOTT, former well known resident of Fairfield, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Des Moines Tuesday afternoon (note: in Polk Co., IA).
He suffered an attack last fall but was apparently recuperating satisfactorily. He was watching television when he was stricken again and died.
He is the father of Mrs. Charles EASTBURN, 807 E. Broadway, who left immediately for Des Moines after hearing of her father's death.
Last rites will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Dunn Funeral home in Des Moines. The body will then be brought to Fairfield where Masonic graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. in Evergreen cemetery.
In addition to his daughter who resides here, ELLIOTT is survived by his wife and one son, Robert, at home. They have lived in Des Moines for the past several years.
