Death of Anthony DWYER.

Anthony DWYER, who had been a resident of Jefferson county since 1878, died at his home northwest of this city Thursday. He was born in Limerick, Ireland, in February, 1823, and came to Canada when twenty-seven. He was married to Abbie HAGGERTY at St. John's N.B., July 31st, 1858. The wife died three years ago. No children were born of this marriage, but an adopted son, August RUHGARBER, was given an excellent home with these good people. Two brothers and two sisters survive Mr. DWYER, Mrs. Margaret KENNEDY and Stephen DWYER of this city, Phillip DWYER of Bayonne, N.J., and Mrs. Bridget MOORE of Brooklyn, N. Y. During all the years Stephen DWYER lived in this county his life was that of an honorable and upright man. He had the respect of his neighbors and the warm affection of his friends. The body was buried in this city Saturday, Rev. A. M. Nodler conducting funeral services at St. Mary's church.

... Anthony DWYER died at his home north of this city September 24th. He was born in Limerick, Ireland, February 23, 1823. Came to this country in 1859 and purchased the farm on which he died. Funeral services were held at the St. Mary's church Saturday morning, conducted by the pastor. ...
