Funeral Services For Mrs. William DOWNEY Friday Morning

Mrs. Winnie DOWNEY, about 49, former resident of this city, passed away last evening at the home of her sister in Dawson, Okla., where she had resided for the past year.

Her daughter, Mrs. Glen HILL, who has been in Oklahoma with her, will accompany the body to Fairfield, arriving tomorrow afternoon. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 from the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Dr. C. R. Douglass. Interment in the Evergreen cemetery.

Her husband, William DOWNEY, passed away on December 3, 1942 (sic - Dec. 1). Surviving besides the daughter, Mrs. HILL, are one grandson, two sisters, both residing in Oklahoma, one brother, Freeman OVERTURE, of Ottumwa, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. A. J. BOYD of Fairfield.
