DILL RITES TO BE HELD HERE
Michigan Woman, Formerly of This City, Died Tuesday

Mary ARMSTRONG, wife of the late Stephen DILL, died at her home in Iron Mountain, Michigan at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, according to a message received in Fairfield by relatives.

The body will arrive in Fairfield tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock and burial will take place in Evergreen cemetery Friday. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

The DILL family is well known to many local residents having resided south of town a number of years ago.

DILL Funeral Is Held Here Today At Hoskins Home

Last funeral services for Mrs. Stephen DILL, who died at her home in ron Mountain, Mich., (sic) on Tuesday, were held this afternoon at 1:00 o'clock in the Hoskins Funeral home. The services were in charge of Dr. U. S. Smith with burial in Evergreen cemetery.

OBITUARY

MRS. STEPHEN DILL

Mrs. Mary E. DILL, daughter of Harry and Margaret ARMSTRONG, was born November 28, 1864, in Jefferson county, Iowa, and died August 28, 1934, having suffered a stroke of paralysis, the previous Sunday at her home in Iron Mountain, Mich. She had lived most of her life in Jefferson county.

On June 12, 1887, she was united in marriage to Stephen DILL, a resiednt (sic) of this county. Her husband died April 16, 1915. In 1916 Mrs. DILL moved to Pembine, Wis., with her family. She lived there until 1930, when she moved to Iron Mountain.

Ten children were born to this union, nine of whom survive being as follows: Mary at home, Frank of Amberg, Wis., Henry, Paul, Robert and Cloy and Mrs. Frank STEELE of Pembine, Wis., Mrs. Maynard FROMMADER of Ft. Adkinson, Wis., and Miss Blanche DILL of Chicago.

Funeral services for this loving mother and kind neighbor were held at the English Lutheran church in Iron Mountain, at 7:30 Wednesday. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery in Fairfield, in charge of Dr. U. S. Smith.
