Rites Here For C. E. DESPAIN, 51

Clarence E. DESPAIN, 51, former Fairfield resident, died Tuesday at St. Joseph hospital in St. Joseph, Mo. DESPAIN had been a resident of St. Joseph for about 15 years.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Harold T. Rasche. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

DESPAIN was born Nov. 19, 1909 at Fairfield, the son of Peter and Alice HEWITT BAKER DESPAIN. Survivors include a half-brother, Thurman BAKER, Ottumwa; a half-sister, Mrs. Grace MILLER, Fairfield; and an aunt, Mrs. James MANARY, Fairfield.
