Death of Charlotte Du BOIS DAY.

Charlotte Du BOIS (sic - DuBOIS), wife of Rev. John W. DAY, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Du BOIS, in this city Friday morning. She had been in ill health for several months, and since her removal to this city a few weeks ago there has seemed little hope for her recovery. Mrs. DAY was born in this city October 16th, 1866. She grew to womanhood here, received her earlier education in the schools of Fairfield and graduated from Parsons College with the class of '92. She was married here October 3d, 1894, and was the mother of two children, Harold and Wilbur. Her home was in Panora for several years, where her husband was a pastor of the Presbyterian church. More recently the family has resided in Des Moines, where Mr. DAY had the pastorate of the East Side Presbyterian church. Mrs. DAY was an unusually bright and loveable girl and she developed into a most estimable and helpful woman. In school, in the home, in social life there was an irresistible charm about her which made a friend of everyone with whom she came in contact. The sympathy of many old friends here will go out to the bereaved husband and parents and the motherless children. The remains of Mrs. DAY were interred in this city Saturday afternoon, Rev. J. F. Magill and Rev. I. O. Kemble conducted the funeral services.
