Local Woman Suicide Victim

Authorities at noon today said Mrs. Dale DAVISON, 63, took her own life by hanging herself in a closet at her home, 707 N. Main.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. J.E. Dorman officiating. Weston Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Officers estiamted she died about 3 p.m. Friday.

Investigation was still underway at 12:10 p.m. today.

Graveside Rites Today

Graveside services were held today for Mrs. Dale DAVISON, 63, Fairfield, who took her own life sometime Friday.

The services today were held at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. J.E. Dorman officiating. Services were in charge of Behner Funeral Home.

Edith F. DAVISON was born Nov. 10, 1911, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Gust and Myrtle BOLEY KELLY (sic - KELLEY). She was married Oct. 20, 1933, to Dale A. DAVISON at Fairfield.

She was a member of the Christian Church and had lived all her life in the Fairfield Community.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. DAVISON is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Roger COOP, Fairfield; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.

County and city officials investigating Mrs. DAVISON's death estimated she died about 3 p.m. Friday.

Her body was found about noon Saturday in a closet at the DAVISON home, 707 N. Main.
