She Once Lived in Fairfield.

A telegram was received in this city Monday announcing the death of Mrs. Catherine M. DANA at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ella J. HATHORNE, at Barclay (sic - Bartley), Neb. Her age was seventy-four years. Mrs. DANA was the widow of David DANA, who died in Fairfield in 1880, and she resided here for about sixteen years, from 1878 to 1894. She had an extended acquaintance among the people of this vicinity and was held in the highest esteem by all who knew her, for she was an excellent, christian woman. Three children survive her, George L. DANA of this county, Mrs. HATHORNE and Mrs. Mary C. DAVIS of Fairbury, Neb. The remains arrived here for burial this morning, and the funeral took place from Junkin & Baker's undertaking rooms at 11 o'clock.
