FRED DAHL DIED AT LANSING, MICHIGAN

Fred DAHL, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. DAHL of this city, and a member of the American Legion, passed away at Lansing, Michigan, this morning following a week's illness from typhoid pneumonia. Until a few months ago Mr. DAHL made his home in Fairfield where he has many friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife. His mother was called to Lansing a few days ago, and was with him when death came. The body will arrive in Fairfield early tomorrow morning. As yet definite funeral arrangements have not been made.

CHARLES FREDERICK DAHL

Charles Frederick DAHL, son of Charles and Mary M. DAHL, was born at Drakeville, Iowa, March 7, 1898, and died January 10, 1923, at Lansing, Michigan. From Drakeville, the family moved to Packwood and later moved to Fairfield where they have lived for several years. He was mustered into service at Jefferson barracks in Company I, Twentieth Infantry, April 12, 1917, and was discharged at Camp dodge, February 5, 1919. He was married to Virgie WILHELM at Burlington, Iowa, June 16, 1922. After the marriage, Mr. and Mrs. DAHL went to Lansing, Michigan, where he was employed in an auto factory. Mr. DAHL's illness, extended only a few days over a week, his death being caused by typhoid fever. He was converted in the First Methodist church at Packwood seventeen years ago and his membership was transferred to the Fairfield church when his family moved to this city.
