Ermabeth CROW

Ermabeth CROW, 98, 105 South B St., died at 6:29 a.m. today, Friday, Dec. 9, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial of the urn will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery. The family requests memorials to organization of donor's choice.

Mrs. CROW was born April 22, 1896, in Marengo, the daughter of Herbert C. and Estella CLEMENTS BROWN. She graduated from Marengo High School and attended Coe College for two years. On Aug. 30, 1916, she married Ira Nelson CROW in Des Moines. He died May 10, 1950. A homemaker, she had lived in the Fairfield community since May 1922. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Philathea Class, United Methodist Women, Kappa Delta Sorority, and a past member of Fairfield Women's Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Jeanne CALLEN-VINSON in Oklahoma; a son, Herbert M. of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, William M., two grandchidlren and a brother, W.C. BROWN, preceded her in death.
