William G. "Bill" HUNT

William G. "Bill" HUNT, 79, of Homeland, Calif., died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, of heart failure in Sun City, Calif.

The body was cremated. No service is planned. The ashes will remain with his daughter Abbi GUTH.

Mr. HUNT was born Nov. 11, 1924, in Fairfield.

He graduated from Fairfield High School and the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He lived in the San Diego, Calif., area for the past 25 years. He was retired and worked as a self-employed notary public until the time of his death.

He was an Airborne soldier serving in the United States Army during World War II.

Survivors include one daughter, Abbi GUTH of Federal Way, Wash.; one son, Ralph D. "Hoot" HUNT of Fairfield; and his second wife, Erma HUNT of Homeland.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris E. HUNT.
