MISS JENNIE COX DIED THIS MORNING

The community was shocked and saddened this morning when it was learned that the Death Angel had called Jennie COX from this earth. Miss COX died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James LOUDEN on West Burlington street this morning at 7 o'clock after an illness of six weeks with typhoid fever.

She was born June 4, 1892 at Wooster and moved with her mother and brother to this city in 1901. Her father, Albert COX, succumbed to the same disease in 1894

Miss COX attended the public schools in this city and was one of the most popular girls in the younger set. Always of a retiring disposition she loved her home far better than many social pleasures. She was the joy and pride of her mother's heart. Always a loving and dutiful daughter and kind hearted to those around here, Jennie COX will be missed not only in her home but in the large circle of friends which she has made for herself.

Miss COX was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of this city and was also a faithful member of the Epworth League society.

Although it was known for several days that death was very near the end came suddenly this morning and the heart broken mother is prostrated by the blow.

Besides her mother Miss COX is survived by one brother, Clarence, who idolized his sister. No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral which wlil (sic) not probably be held for several days.
