Christopher T. BLAKLEY, 56, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2021. at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (note: in Iowa City, Johnson Co., IA).

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Christopher BLAKLEY, 406 S. Davis Street, Bloomfield, IA 52537.

Christopher was born Aug. 23, 1964, to Bruce and Darlene (COLEMAN) BLAKLEY. He married Sharon CAPPS and they later divorced.

Christopher worked at Kraft Food in the sanitation department in Davenport and at St. Ambrose in the cafeteria. He had lived in Jefferson County for three years. Christopher enjoyed working on cars, driving stock cars, watching NASCAR and riding a 4-wheeler. He liked going camping or just going for long drives. Christopher collected NASCAR model cars and beer steins. Most important was spending time with his children and grandchildren and friends.

Christopher will be missed by his children, Crystal (Ian) HICKS of Davenport, Rebecca (Jeff) MATEJCEK and Christopher J. (Miranda) BLAKLEY, both of Bloomfield, and Nikki WAGNER of Davenport; six grandchildren, Lori Ann, Marcus, Jayson, Landon, Andrew and Kaylynn; and his mother, Darlene BLAKLEY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce; and his grandparents.
