MISS COLESON LAID TO REST

Private funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today for Maude Alfrieda COLESON, 63, well known local resident who passed away at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at her home, 608 East Adams street. She had been in failing health since 1929.

The services were held at the Monger funeral home in charge of Dr. L. H. Scheerer. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

Miss COLESON had been a resident of Fairfield for the past 43 years. She made many friends while employed at the Coleson bakery operated here for several years by her brother. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Miss COLESON was born August 3, 1883, at Lacon, Illinois, the daughter of the late August and Anna COLESON.

She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Olive SWENSON, Elgin, Illnois; Emmett COLESON, Faribault, Minnesota; Paul and Bernard COLESON, both of Glendale, California; Lawrence COLESON, Mrs. Arthur JOHNSON, Harriet COLESON and Mrs Raymond ZEIGLER, all of Fairfield.
