Rites Tuesday For Mrs. CLARK

Mrs. Charles W. CLARK, 82, lifetime resident of the Fairfield community, died Saturday night at the Nelson nursing home where she had been a patient for the last year following a broken hip.

Funeral services will be held at the Weston Behner funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Edwin Beach officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. CLARK, the former Anna E. CLARK (sic - Anna E. MESSER), was born June 12, 1876, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Lewis and Mary KIENTZ MESSER. She was married to Charles W. CLARK Nov. 18, 1919, at Mt. Pleasant and lived in the Bethesda community east of Fairfield for over 40 years before moving to Fairfield. She was a member of the Bethesda Methodist church. The family home here is at 709 S. Fourth.

Survivors are her husband and a daughter, Mrs. John REGENMORTER of Muskegon, Mich.; two grandchildren and one brother, Arthur MESSER of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
