Brother of Mrs. C. A. HERRING Died at Iowa City HospitalFuneral services for Frank CHESTER, brother of Mrs. C. A. HERRING, who passed away at 12 o'clock last night at the University hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA), will be held here tomorrow afternoon at 4 oclock from the Charles A. HERRING home, 302 West Broadway. Dr. U. S. Smith of the First Methodist church will have charge. Burial in Evergreen cemetery. Friends are asked to please omit flowers.
Mr. CHESTER is well known in Fairfield. He was born here October 6, 1876 leaving Fairfield when but a young man, spending the greater part of his life in the west but making frequent visits with relatives here. He was the son of Simpson J. and Eliza Olive HENDRICKS CHESTER.
He had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill for two months. Mr. and Mrs. HERRING were with him at the time of his death. He is also survived by another sister, Mrs. C. W. TROWBRIDGE of Long Beach, Calif.
