JUDITH LEE MINEAR
Fairfield

Judith Lee MINEAR, 75, of Fairfield, passed Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at her home.

Judith was born Oct. 17, 1945, to Carl and Julia (WORLEY) BOWMAN in Unionville, Mo. She was raised in Lemons, Mo., and attended Unionville Schools. She married Ronald MINEAR in 1962, but later divorced. To this union they had five surviving children: Tammie GOATES of Mount Pleasant, Theresa ROGERS of Seymour, Michelle (Mike) GRAY of Moravia, Tanya (Mark) KUKUZKE of Indianola and Dawn (Greg) ROEMEN of Fairfield; and twin daughters, Sarah and Susan MINEAR, who passed after birth.

Judith was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with family and teaching her grandchildren some of her hobbies, such as sewing, crafts, crocheting and cooking. Some of her favorite memories of the time she spent with them were "Grandma Camps." She was a pillar of strength in her family, there was no obstacle she couldn't overcome. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family and to help others. Judith was the most gentle, compassionate and loving person. She sacrificed everything for her family so that they were able to flourish in their own lives. Her children and her grandchildren were the center of her life and she cherished every moment they had and memory they made.

Judith worked many years at Motorola in Mount Pleasant and Fairfield Walmart.

Judith is survived by her five daughters; three sisters, Barbara NEIGHBORS of Missouri, Carlene (Carol) CLARK of Texas and Mary Lou RAW of Oregon; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Julia BOWMAN; two infant daughters, Sarah and Susan; siblings, Anna HOUSTON, Fred BOWMAN and Virginia ENGLAND; and brothers-in-law, Benny NEIGHBORS and Franklin HOUSTON.

A Celebration of Life service will be at a later date.

Memmorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family at 2376 167th St., Fairfield, IA 52556, in care of Dawn ROEMEN.

Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.
