Charlotte May CHAMP, 78, of 2237 Highway 34 E., died at 9 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Parkview Care Center.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at New Life Community Church, with the Rev. Jim McGaffey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Following Ms. CHAMP's request, no visitation will be held, but friends may call until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials can be made to New Life Community Church.
Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. CHAMP was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Fairfield, the daughter of Fay Oral and Eulalia Sylvania CARLOW CHAMP.
She lived her life in the Fairfield community. After graduating from Fairfield High School in 1946, she was employed as service assistant and operator by United Telephone Company for 34 years, retiring in 1981.
Ms. CHAMP was a member of Free Methodist Church, now New Life Community Church, and Women's Missionary International, and served as steward and Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include one sister, Kathryn CHAMP of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Marion, Clarence, Wayne, John, Oren and Robert CHAMP; and two sisters, Jean CHAMP and Mary KISLING.
