Eugene CHADDICK (sic), Former Resident, Dies at San Diego

Word has been received of the death of Eugene CHADDICK (sic - CHADDUCK), 73, former Fairfield resident, at the home of his sister, Mrs. S. L. GRIMSLEY, at San Diego, Calif. He died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday evening.

Mr. CHADDICK, who was raised here and belonged to the Odd Fellows lodge here, had been in the west about 15 years. Cremation will be at San Diego, and the ashes will be buried in Evergreen cemetery here, sometime later.

He is survived by three sisters, two brothers, and his step-father, William SAPPENFIELD.
