Mrs. Cora BALL CASE, former well known resident, died suddenly this morning at the home of her daughter and son-in-law at Mediapolis, Iowa. She suffered a heart attack about 3:30 a.m. and passed away about an hour later.
The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home where last rites are pending.
Mrs Cora BALL CASE, 83, was born Aug. 18, 1876, in Jefferson county, the daughter of the late Lewis and Eva FISHER BALL. She was married to Dr. Frederick F. CASE in 1899. He died in 1925. Mrs. CASE had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law at Mediapolis since 1947.
She was a member of the First Methodist church and Chapter C. PEO.
Mrs. CASE is survived by two daughters; Mrs. H. A. MUELLENSCHLADER, Baltimore, Md.; and Mrs. Frank CLING, Mediapolis. She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Paul McLEAN, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and one brother.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Cora BALL CASE, 83, former Fairfield resident who died yesterday at the home of her daughter and son-in-law at Mediapolis, Iowa.
The services will be held at the First Methodist church with Dr. Lloyd Shearer (sic - Scheerer) and Dr. J. Henry Teele officiating. Interment will be in the Fairfield Abbey.
The body will be taken from the Weston Behner funeral home to the church at 1 p.m. where it will lie in state until time for the rites at 2 p.m.
