Clara Mabel CARLSON, 88, of 303 S. Third St., died at 4:12 p.m. Friday, April 1, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.
CARLSON was born July 14, 1905, at Rome, the daughter of Augusta and Inga Alisa LARSON CARLSON. She moved to Chicago in 1926, where she was a self-employed private nurse. She retired in 1977 and returned to Fairfield. She attended First Baptist Church and her hobby was attending auctions.
Surviving are nieces and nephews. CARLSON was preceded in death by four sisters, Emily, Ida, Ellen and Annie; and two brothers, Elmer and Carl.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. John D. Boatman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation began to day at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Jefferson County.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 8TH DAY OF APRIL, 1994, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF CLARA M. CARLSON, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 3RD DAY OF JUNE, 1993, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT JACK CARLSON WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE. ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN THE LATER TO OCCUR OF FOUR MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR ONE MONTH FROM THE DATE OF MAILING OF THIS NOTICE TO ALL HEIRS OF THE DECEDENT AND DEVISEES UNDER THE WILL WHOSE IDENTITIES ARE REASONABLY ASCERTAINABLE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
