MRS. CARLSON DIES AT HOME
Well-Known Fairfield Resident Passes After Long Illness

Mrs. C. E. CARLSON, well-known Fairfield resident passed away at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, at her home, 53 North Morgan, following a prolonged illness. Funeral arrangements are pending word from children. The body is at the Murray Funeral Home.

Mrs. CARLSON was born, January 13, 1848, in Smoland Sweden. She has been a resident of Jefferson county for the past forty-five years. She was a faithful member of the First Lutheran church of this city.

Surviving her are the following children: Mrs. W. E. KREINER of Ottumwa, A. F. CARLSON of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Ben HAZELTON, Mrs. O. A. EASTON and Miss Hannah CARLSON of Fairfield, Mrs. S. B. WISECARVER of Des Moines, and C. R. CARLSON of Ferguson, Mo.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. C. CARLSON FRIDAY AT 2 p.m.

Services for Mrs. C. E. CARLSON, who passed away late Tuesday, will be held at the First Lutheran church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Dr. W. F. Rex. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Murray Funeral directors.
