A SUDDEN DEATH. GEORGE CRAINE was born and grew to manhood in Fairfield and for a number of years was connected with the J. E. ROTH Dry Goods establishment….Twenty-three years ago he was married in Indiana, to MISS VIRGINIA STAPP, who survives him. He was 46 years of age. One brother, ED. CRANE[sic] of Council Bluffs, and two sisters, MISSES ALICE and MANNIE, of this city, are the survivors of his immediate family. Buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
