BROUGHT HERE TODAY FOR BURIAL

The remains of Mrs. M. L. CAMPBELL, mother of Sheriff Shan CAMPBELL will be brought here from Chicago this afternoon and the funeral services will be held from his residence at 10:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Martin L. CAMPBELL was 65 years of age and formerly resided in fairfield, coming from Pleasant Plain in 1897. The family resided here until ten years ago when they moved to Chiago. There are three sons, Shan of Fairfield, John W. and L. R., both of Chicago, who with their father are left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother. Miss Mel KENDALL was with the family in Chicago.

While not in the best of health, Mrs. CAMPBELL was about the house and was standing talking with her daughter-in-law when she was stricken, never regaining consciousness. On the same afternoon that she died she wrote three letters, one to a sister, one to Shan and one to her brother Frank KENDALL of Twin Falls, Idaho, who had just been elected sheriff there. She wrote congratulating her brother and her son who were both elected sheriff on the same day.
