Earl E. BUSH, 69, 501 North B St., died suddenly at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson County Hospital.
The body will be cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established to the Heart Fund.
BUSH was born July 5, 1914 in Fairfield, the son of Charles and Nina VANDERGRIFF BUSH. On Feb. 20, 1938 in Memphis, Mo., he married Virginia LITTLE, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jerry of Waterloo, Michael of Ankeny; four grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret MYERS of El Monte, Calif., and Mary Catherine BUSH of Fairfield.
BUSH was retired. He had worked at the Compressor Station for Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline for 22 years. He was affiliated with the First Christian Church and Eagle Lodge (sic - Aerie/Club).

Inurnment services for Earl Eugene BUSH will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating.
BUSH died suddenly Jan. 3 at the Jefferson County Hospital after which his body was cremated.
Earl Eugene BUSH was born July 5, 1914, the son of Charles and Nina BUSH. He was married to Virginia LITTLE Feb. 20, 1937, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, four grandchildren and two sisters.
