R. M. BROWN, 84, Taken In Death

Ralph M. BROWN, 84, a resident of Fairfield for more than 50 years, died at 4:30 a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruth SMITH, in Kewanee, Ill.

BROWN had made his home in Kewanee for the past year. Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home with the Rev. James W. Dendler in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

BROWN was born July 29, 1880 at Kirkwood, Ill., the son of James and Rebecca MORRISON BROWN. He was married to Hannah KELLY Oct. 11, 1905. She died Nov. 8, 1842.

BROWN was a member of the First Methodist church. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ruth SMITH and Lola BROWN, Kewanee, Ill.; Vernon BROWN, Burnell BROWN and Dale BROWN, Peoria, Ill.; Mrs. Violet LISTON, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Mrs. Lee JOHNSON and Robert BROWN, Fairfield.

Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one a sister (sic), Mrs. BlancheMARSH, (sic) Winfield. Three brothers, one sister and one daughter are deceased.
