FUNERAL SERVICES OF WILLIAM BRIER 9:00 A.M. TOMORROW

William BRIER passed away yesterday afternoon at three-thirty o'clock, at his home at 506 South Fourth street. He was aged 87 years and twenty days, and death came after an illness of some three weeks. He has been a resident of Fairfield for the past twenty years, retiring from the farm.

Wm. BRIER was born near Dayton, Ohio, April 14, 1833. At the age of eighteen years he came to Iowa. On Jan. 10, 1856, he was united in marriage with Priscilla GRANT of Rome, Iowa. To this union were born nine children, six of whom with the wife and mother, have preceded him in death. Three daughters survive, Mary E. and Donah M. BRIER, and Mrs. BYER, of Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held at nine o'clock tomorrow morning from his late residence, conducted by Rev. Carpenter. Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery.
