LAST RITES FOR WALTER BRADY
Funeral Services Were Held This Afternoon From the First Christian Church

Funeral services for Walter BRADY were held this afternoon from the First Christian church conducted by Rev. R. H. Polly at the church. The services from the church to the grave were in charge of the Service company of the 133rd regiment, of which the deceased was a member.

At the church Mrs. L. W. Van Nostrand and Mrs. Albert Johnson accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Norville Switzer sang, "My Savior as Thou Wilt", "In the Garden" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." The following members of the Service company services as pall bearers: Wendell Grinstead, Horace Little, Lester Simmons, Elvert Teeter, Dwight Davis and Earl Bryan.

Walter BRADY, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. BRADY, was born in Fairfield, March 23, 1902 and died in this city Sunday afternoon at 2 oclock at his home, aged 24 years 6 months and 18 days. He has spent all his life in Fairfield, attending the grade and high school here. During the last several months he has been in poor health and was unable to do any hard work. He was a member of the Service company of the 133rd regiment and went to camp with them this summer. He was taken ill with acute Bright's disease three days preceding his death. He was unusually kind to everyone and was highly respect by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, three sisters, Mrs. Ray ECKERMAN of Boone, Iowa, Lucille and Katherine at home and one brother Clarence also living at home. Two sisters, Florence and Margaret, preceded him in death.
