D. BOWERMASTER Taken In Death

Dale H. BOWERMASTER, 58, 804 W. Hempstead, died Wednesday at 5:50 p.m. at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA). He had been seriously ill for the past two months.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Alvin Nelson and the Rev. Donald Hickman. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BOWERMASTER was a life-long resident of Fairfield and a retired employe of the Louden Machinery Co. He was born here Jan. 29, 1908, the son of H. C. and Grace L. HARPER BOWERMASTER. He was educated in the Fairfield schools.

He was married to Dorothea THOMAS July 24, 1937. Surviving are his wife and his father, Claude BOWERMASTER, Fairfield.

BOWERMASTER was a member of the Baptist church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II.
