Mrs. Margaret BLOSS died in this city at 2 o'clock this morning, aged eighty-seven years. Deceased was a native of Virginia, and her maiden name was RINEHARDT. She was married in that state to Conrad BLOSS. The young people spent several years in Ohio, came to Des Moines county, this state, in 1851, and to Fairfield in 1869, where the husband died about ten years ago (sic - in 1879). These good people were the parents of eleven children, but one of whom is dead. The others are: W. R. BLOSS, Mrs. Clarissa YOUNG, Mrs. Julia STEVENS, Mrs. Ellen COLBY of this city; Mrs. Margaret CURFMAN, Maryville, Mo.; F. H. BLOSS, Trinity Center, Cal.; Mrs. Elizabeth GREGG, Wyoming, Neb.; Mrs. Eliza PLACE, Logansport, Ind.; Mrs. Sarah HEISEY, Burlington; Mrs. Mary MOUNT, St. Louis, Mo. There are many old friends of the family in southeastern Iowa who will learn of the death of this excellent woman with deep regret.
