Many Friends Paid Last Respects To Well Known Business ManFuneral services for William Frederick BEVERING, who died Sunday night, were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the English Lutheran church. Rev. George P. Parker conducted the last rites and many friends were in attendance to pay their last tribute to this well known business man.
Mrs. Wm. N. Neibert and Mrs. Glenn Bates sang the duets "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "Abide With Me," with Mrs. H. E. Wisecarver at the organ.
The Knights of Pythias, of which organization Mr. BEVERING was a member, had charge of the services at the grave.
The following from out of town were here for the funeral: Mrs. C. T. Miller and C. W. Miller of Evaston (sic - Evanston), Ill., George BEVERING, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Joyce, Mrs. Mary BEVERING and Miss Grace Nyens, of Keokuk; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beatty and children Miss Martha and Hugh of East Moline, Ill., Frank Beatty of Chicago, Ill., Miss Rena Duke and Mrs. Vance Jefferson of Ottumwa and Mrs. Loraine Myers of Eldon.
