OBITUARY.

Editors Ledger:--Died, after years of suffering, Sarah C., wife of Willis L. BENNETT. Sarah C. BABBITT was born in Waterloo, N. Y., September 29th, 1854. Most of her life except the last few years, was spent in the study and teaching of music, and she had the advantages of the best teachers of her day. All through her sufferings her husband was by her side; through all the long days and nights no business matters could call him; he lent a deaf ear to everything except her wants. But in spite of his care and that of a kind physician death claimed her July 29th, 1897. Funeral services, at her request, were brief, and were conducted by Rev. J. A. Boatman, and she was laid to rest in the Evergreen cemetery July 31st, 1897.
