Rites Friday For BABCOCK

Word has been received here of the death of Vernon BABCOCK, 47, who died Sunday, Nov. 17, in a hospital at Fullerton, Calif.

The body is being returned to the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield where last rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Funeral For E. BABCOCK

Funeral services for Edward Vernon BABCOCK, 47, former Fairfield resident, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at he Raymond Funeral Home.

The Rev. Lynn Bergfalk will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BABCOCK died Sunday, Nov. 18, at Placentice Hospital in Anaheim, Calif. He was a chemist with National Sanitary Supply Co. in California at the time of his death.

Edward Vernon BABCOCK was born Oct. 17, 1927, in Fairfield. He was the son of Carl V. and Katherine MATT BABCOCK, and was reared and educated in the Fairfield community.

In addition to his widow, Donna RADKE BABCOCK, he is survived by three daughters, Cynthia, Jennifer and Holly; his mother, Mrs. Katherine BABCOCK, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Iva Mae HUMMELL, Fort Worth, Texas, and Carolyn WIGNALL, Illinois; two brothers, David Lee BABCOCK, Pennsylvania, and Joseph Charles BABCOCK, Pennsylvania.
