Page SIX, Column 6GEORGE AVERY PASSES AWAY
George AVERY, 56, died last night about 9:00 P. M. at his home at 407 North Sixth Street.
Mr. AVERY had lived in Fairfield about three years and had worked at Louden's for the past year. He had been in poor health the past several months and was taken to the Veterans hospital in Des Moines the first of this year and was later returned home. He was an overseas veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Lura; his mother, Mrs. Grant BARLOW, Nashua, Iowa; three step-children: Mrs. Zelma NEMMERS, Nashua, Frank ADLER and Mrs. Grace DENNISON both of Fairfield; and six grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and the body is at the Monger Funeral Home.

Funeral services for George AVERY, 56, World War I veteran, who passed away Monday evening will be held at the Monger Funeral Home Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Military service will be in charge of Dimmitt Vorhies Post No. 2271, Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Rev. G. J. Dingham of the Birmingham Free Methodist church will officiate.
